I wrote this story for a topic just to learn about different stories either in the bible or in the comic books and comparing and relating to their stories. Like Superman and Moses.

I was wondering how you can compare Superman to Moses. They both had almost the same origin, like for example. As Superman as a child, his Parents had to wrap him in a blanket put him in a space pod to save his life from his dying planet. Then he came to Earth and landed near the corn fields, where a man and a woman their last name were the Kents, they saw a young child crawled out of the wreckage. As the Kents try to figure out where the child came from, they decided to keep him as one of their own, and named him Clark Kent. As Clark Kent figures out that he is not like the other kids growing up. He notice he has special abilities allow him to run faster and jump higher than any regular human being. When he as his Earth parents where he came from, they were bit worried then they told him everything and even showed him how they found the spaceship they found him in. After they showed Clark the ship activated and along the message a crystal dropped to his hands, after the message told him that he must go north to find the source where he comes from. Clark said his goodbyes and told them he will return from his journey to the North. When he reached the North Pole he thrown crystal in to water and created this giant ice fortress. Once inside the fortress he spent many years learning who he was and where he came from. After years have passed He came out as Superman, after that the rest was history.
In the story of Moses his life had the same type tragedy. Moses was a Hebrew child and most Hebrews at the time were slaves. When the Pharaoh had a fear of the Hebrews would over throw him, and so he ordered to kill every Hebrew boy be executed. The soldiers came down acting the Hebrews houses and slaughtered many children, but when the whole commotion was happening, a woman and her two children was running from the soldiers as she was carrying her new born son. As they came to edge of the river bank and nowhere to run, so she wrapped her baby in linen cloth and put him in a basket. Then she took the basket to the water and gently pushed the basket downstream. As the basket flows through the river and almost at times the basket would parish by the current or by the animals that live on the river. Even though this is happening a little girl name Miriam watched her baby brother go down the river. As the basket float across river to nearby bank, a woman saw the basket and open saw a baby sleep peacefully. The woman is in fact the Pharaoh’s wife, took baby in as her own and named him Moses. As Moses was growing up and enjoying the luxuries of being prince. Moses and his brother Ramses would play pranks and getting into mischiefs. After remembering where Moses came from, he ask his mother where he came from. She told him that he was a Hebrew child who came upon their lives, and how she saved him from getting any harm. One day walking around the palace he saw a guard beating a Hebrew slave getting beaten. No matter how many times Moses told the guard to stop, the guard continued beating the slave. Out of anger Moses killed the guard, after realizing what he did he ran away from Egypt. When he could run anymore he stumbled upon a bunch of brigands attack a woman. Moses ran to her rescue and saved her from the brigands, he was invited by the woman to her village. Moses was happy again almost forgot about what he did and end up marrying the woman. One day Moses was herding a herd of sheep and saw one of his sheep strayed away from herd. So he followed the sheep into a cave, as entered the cave a flaming bush appeared in front of him. The bush spoke and said “Moses I am God and I need your help, my people the Hebrews had suffered to long. You must set them free.” Moses scratched his head and asks how he is going to get the Pharaoh to listen to him. The bush said “when come to Egypt I will help you by giving you my powers, and I will show them my wonders.” As Moses agreed to what god is saying he went to Egypt and the rest of the story was history.
Well As I would put the two stories together they had a similar story when as a child, but the two had different lives. One became the earth’s champion and the other became the savior of his people. They both protected the people they loved and those who they don’t know. As my conclusion by stating that I would compared the two figures. That they had the same tragedy as a child, as though Moses did not make to the new land he promises to take his people. He died before they got to the new land, that land became Israel. As though Superman went through countless battles and saving lives he still had lived a good life. In which he married his love of his life Lois Lane. Superman continued to save the world and lived on.
What do you think of this Story? How would you compare other stories like this one? How would you do any different comparing other figures beside comic book heroes and biblical figures?
